ROLE SUMMARY AND DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
Peel Hunt is a leading UK investment bank that specialises in supporting mid-cap and growth companies. It provides integrated investment banking advice and services to UK corporates, including equity capital markets, private capital markets, M&A, debt advisory, investor relations and corporate broking. The Marketing team plays a central role in driving brand visibility and client engagement through a comprehensive marketing and events programme. Operating in a collaborative and fast-moving environment, the team works closely with the Executive Committee, Equities, Research, Investment Banking teams to enhance Peel Hunt’s profile and deliver seamless event experiences that support business growth.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to provide maternity cover for the Head of Marketing & Events. This pivotal role leads the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of high-impact conferences and events that reinforce Peel Hunt’s brand and business objectives. In addition to overseeing the full events programme, the successful candidate will drive the firm’s marketing strategy – developing and delivering campaigns that enhance brand visibility, support client engagement, and align with business goals. They will manage key stakeholder relationships, oversee content and promotional activity, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels, while maintaining exceptional standards of delivery throughout every client touchpoint.

2. Responsibilities:
• Oversee end-to-end management of conferences, webinars, roundtables, and bespoke client events including our flagship conference. Including corporate invitations, investor scheduling, venue and supplier coordination, registrations, marketing, event materials, entertainment, and internal stakeholder delivery.
• Manage all aspects of event logistics, content development, promotion, and post-event analysis.
• Drive multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, and client communications.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging and tone across all marketing materials and platforms.
• Collaborate with Equities, Research, Investment Banking, and Executive teams to maximise impact.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and act as the primary point of contact for external agencies and vendors.
• Monitor marketing performance metrics and report on ROI and engagement to senior leadership.
• Manage the marketing and events budget, ensuring cost-effective delivery.
• Lead and develop the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Stay informed on industry trends and introduce innovative approaches to marketing and events.
