Brand & Communications Executive
ROLE SUMMARY AND DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
Peel Hunt is a leading UK investment bank that specialises in supporting mid-cap and growth companies. It provides integrated investment banking advice and services to UK corporates, including equity capital markets, private capital markets, M&A, debt advisory, investor relations and corporate broking. The Company's joined up approach combines these services with expert research and distribution and an execution services hub that provides liquidity to the UK capital markets, delivering value to global institutions and trading counterparties alike. The Company is admitted to trading on AIM (LON: PEEL) and has offices in London, New York and Copenhagen.
The Marketing team plays a central role in driving brand visibility and client engagement through a comprehensive marketing and events programme. Operating in a collaborative and fast-moving environment, the team works closely with the Executive Committee, Equities, Research, Investment Banking teams to enhance Peel Hunt’s profile and deliver seamless event experiences that support business growth.
This role supports Peel Hunt’s communications and marketing efforts across all internal and external channels, ensuring the firm presents a clear, consistent, and compelling brand voice. The Brand & Communications Executive will shape and execute campaigns that strengthen our market presence, elevate our thought leadership, and enhance employee engagement. This encompasses external communications, managing digital content, driving internal messaging, shaping visual branding, and promoting events.
The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to content development, asset creation, and stakeholder engagement. They will collaborate closely with senior leaders across the business to ensure all communications and marketing outputs align with business goals and brand standards. The role sits within the marketing & communications team and reports directly to the Head of Marketing & Events.
1. Responsibilities:
Visual brand strategy and execution
• Champion brand governance across the business, ensuring consistent and high-quality application of the brand’s visual identity, tone of voice, and messaging across all touchpoints, internally and externally.
• Drive brand visibility and thought leadership across all channels to increase reach, impact, and audience growth.
• Multi-media & Creative – design and distribution
• Digital channels (video, podcasts, website design and content management and social media)
• Publications (publication design, brochures, and quarterly newsletter)
• Printed assets (branded goods, large-scale event collateral, brochureware, magazines, banners)
• Presentations (e.g. pitchbook templates and company results presentation)
• Promotional Items
• Multimedia content such as corporate videos, photography, and campaign assets
Maintain Brand Guidelines - Lead the creation and rollout of multi-channel campaign toolkits, including messaging frameworks, visual assets, templates, and guidance to enable consistent execution across departments.
Non-Executive Director Awards - Own and deliver the end-to-end communications and branding strategy for the Non-Executive Director (NED) Awards, including digital campaigns, stakeholder engagement, media partnerships, and event communications.
Internal Communications - Manage internal communications strategy and delivery, crafting messaging that supports culture, employee engagement, executive visibility, and the firm’s internal brand narrative through firmwide updates and campaigns.
Set and own KPIs across marketing and communications activity, analysing results to inform strategy, improve outcomes, and benchmark performance against competitors. Provide regular reporting to leadership to support business planning and resource allocation.

• Graphic Design experience, with experience in brand development, design and production of B2B marketing materials
